Chantal

Faisal was born in York and first began dancing at the age of 17. He attended a line-dancing class at which he was spotted and asked to join the Rebecca Davies Dance School. At the age of 18 Faisal won a scholarship place at the Northern Ballet School in Manchester. Following three years’ professional training, he graduated with a National Diploma in Dance. Theatre credits include: ensemble in We Will RockYou (Dominion Theatre, West End); The Wedding Singer (UK premiere 2008, number one tour), playing swing and both covering and playing George; corps de ballet in Coppélia (Manchester City Ballet); ensemble in A Salute to Fred Astaire (Dance House Theatre); soloist in The Nutcracker (Manchester City Ballet).

Additional credits: Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines (The Navigator and The Empress of the Seas); Belinda King Presents (Queen Mary II and QE2 – world cruise); Commonwealth Games, XV11 - 2002 (dancer at the opening and closing ceremonies). Television work includes: Record of the Year (ITV Productions); promotional video for O2 Arena.
