Etienne

Dean was born and brought up in Lancashire and trained in London at the Arts Educational School of Musical Theatre. Upon graduation in 2005 he immediately joined the cast of The Woman in White at the Palace Theatre, directed by Sir Trevor Nunn, where he understudied and played the leading role of Walter Hartwright. During that time he performed his first professional concert at St Saviour’s Church in Knightsbridge and following that appeared in the original revival cast of Evita at the Adelphi Theatre, directed by Michael Grandage. Last year Dean originated the leading role of Ash in Never Forget, both on tour and at the Savoy Theatre, and can be seen and heard on the DVD. He has also played Prince Charming in Cinderella at both High Wycombe and Theatre Royal Nottingham.

Dean is a very keen sportsman, currently captaining London Theatres Cricket Club and has been a member of the Stage Golfing Society since 2006.
